Care that starts with listening first.
Every appointment follows the same simple approach: understand what matters to you, explain what's happening in plain language, and build a plan you can actually stick to.
Listen & Understand
Every visit starts with your history, your concerns and what you want from your smile — not just a checklist of treatments.
Explain, Clearly
Findings are talked through in plain language, so you always know what's happening, why it matters, and what your options are.
Treat & Support
Treatment is delivered gently and at your pace, followed by a clear home-care plan to protect your results between visits.
"My focus is always on delivering personalised, gentle dental care — paired with the honest, practical advice patients need to look after their smile between visits."
Marisa
Prevention before intervention
Reducing the risk of future disease is always the starting point, not just treating problems as they appear.

"Marisa is the best hygienist! Thank you for saving my teeth and gums."
"Great practice with an attentive and friendly team. I have been to several hygienists and therapists before and found Marisa to be by far the most gentle but thorough. Her assistant was also super friendly. I will be happy to have my treatment here again in the future and can genuinely recommend the practice to anyone."
About me, answered.
What's the difference between a dental hygienist and a dental therapist?+
A dental hygienist focuses on preventive care — cleaning, scaling and gum health. A dental therapist can also carry out some restorative work, such as fillings, under the same scope of registration. As a qualified Dental Hygienist & Therapist, Marisa is registered to provide both.
Can I book an appointment without a dentist referral?+
Yes. Dental hygienists and therapists in the UK can be seen under GDC direct access, so you don't need a referral from a dentist for routine hygiene and therapy treatments. If a dentist needs to be involved — for example if you need a filling assessed — Marisa will let you know and can refer you on.
